Secure Communications

Are our mobile communications as secure as we think? The answer is a resounding ‘No’. Advances in mobile interception technology mean that “hackers” can now listen to and record calls and voicemail and read, modify and re-direct SMS messages using hardware that costs as little as $1,500 to buy online. For government and security agencies, financial institutions, corporates and network operators mobile security is the weakest link in their technology framework.

Morrigan is the leading developer of mobile security software. We have developed the “Morrigan Secure Application” (the “MSA”); a unique patent-pending software solution that utilises the highest levels of encryption to protect the security of mobile communications and mobile transactions. The MSA is downloaded to, and runs in parallel with, the user’s smartphone or mobile device. No specialist hardware is required. It is the only security software capable of mass deployment to mobile devices across standard mobile phone networks. It is specifically designed to be as user friendly as possible. The MSA interface mimics the user’s current smartphone meaning that, in effect, if you can use your smartphone you can use it securely with the MSA. It is a Voice over Internet Protocol (“VoIP”) system which means that the MSA operates on a client’s existing mobile data package, resulting in very significant cost savings for local and international call costs.

Uniquely, the MSA operates seamlessly over all data-enabled networks including 2G, 3G, 4G, Wi-Fi and satellite. This allows mobile devices to move freely and uninterrupted between all data-enabled networks globally during a secure MSA call connection. This is facilitated by the MSA’s use of unique patent-pending software that enables the MSA to function on the 2G network. Mobile handsets automatically revert to 2G networks if the user enters an area that is outside 3G or Wi-Fi coverage. This occurs seamlessly and generally the user is unaware that they are using a 2G network. Therefore the MSA protects the integrity of the communication regardless of network.
